Back there again today Beck and Naomi are going to get sick of me. Two lovely young ladies, very professional and smart. Gee there is no way known I could have filled out all those papers. I have learnt so much. Thank you Spark Cowork. Tc

Firstly, I would point out that I love working on my own, I like my solitude and I enjoy my own company. So for me, I am entirely suited to the ‘work at home’ mum scenario. Without noise and interruption (at least while the kids are at school), I am very productive within my home office environment with a solid structure in place for my working day. For this reason, I never thought that Spark would be for me.. At least until I gave it a go. Spending time in the beautifully set out, air conditioned and fully equipped office space for the first time was rather an eye opener for me. There were a few people in the space with me and while there was the occasional (and quite welcome) chat, there was an air of respect that people were there to quietly get on with their work. I wouldn’t say I’m a people person, but having been in the space a few times now has made me realise that it’s good for me to be around other people, even if only for a day or two a week (I still like my own space). To be able to interact with other small business owners, share ideas, ask opinions and dare I say it, indulge in a bit of a harmless banter, feels really fulfilling. The space also means that rather than invite people round to my home for meetings (after frantically tidying up my organised chaos), I can book a meeting room or desk, and conduct my meetings in a more professional manner. One last thing I would love to mention is the people! I always (quite wrongly) assumed that this would be a cliquey and daunting place to step into, but the owners, Rebecca and Naomi, could not be any more welcoming if they tried and they go out of their way to introduce you to other people who are in the space at the time you arrive. They really do make you feel like part of the family. I would highly recommend Spark to other work at homers like me, or anyone who would benefit from spending time in a welcoming and productive environment where they can get stuff done, meet other likeminded people, network and ultimately improve the running and efficiency of their business. We all need to find that ‘Spark’ in our lives 🙂

Hi Beck and Naomi, I wanted to write and congratulate you on your new venture - Spark CoWork. I am glad to report that our recent Tomaree Business Chamber strategy meeting was a complete success, due mainly to your amazing facility. The venue is well situated and the free parking was a welcome bonus for our participants. The room itself was bright, air conditioned and large enough to have the option of plenary session with areas for smaller groups to meet. Having AV and resources such as flip charts and whiteboards also aided the efficiency of the meeting. From enquiry to execution - you were both friendly and professional - thank you. We look forward to using your space again in the very near future. Leah Anderson - President Tomaree Business Chamber
